Biography
Cody Feechan is a husky voiced songstress from Scotland who's fast becoming a force in the folk-rock scene with a dash of country charm. Her rich, emotive vocals carries a subtle Scottish lilt making her stand out whether it's through her crooning intimate ballads or leading anthemic bangers.
Most recently, Cody has supported Jess Glynne at Helix Park in June 2025. During the months prior to this she toured all around Scotland, England and Ireland with Peat & Diesel. This year so far has been full of highs which will continue with an exciting year ahead for Cody.
Cody has signed a Record Deal with Wee Studio Records and is currently in the process of recoding an album.
She has travelled all around the UK performing at festivals including Beautiful Days Festival, Gateways Festival, Fringe by the Sea, Celtic Connections, Butefest, Eilean Dorcha Festival, Party at the Palace, Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, to name a few. She also joined Peat & Diesel on the main stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2023 prior to Travis taking to the stage.
In September 2023, Cody won ‘Best Female Performer’ at the Lowlands Music Awards. Cody has secured radio airplay on Absolute Radio, BBC Radio Scotland, Sirius XM, Apple Music Radio, Kingdom FM as well as Ireland’s biggest weekend radio show on RTE Radio 1.
'Home' secured Single of the Week at BBC Radio Scotland in June 2023. The UK's biggest country band The Shires featured Cody on their 'UK Artist Spotlight' on their show on Apple Music Radio in March 2022. Cody has also been named by Ben Earle (From ‘The Shires’) as one of his 'Ones to Watch' on Absolute Radio Country in both 2022 and 2023.
Taking to the stage to perform at the Kingdom FM Local Hero Awards Cermony 2019, Cody also won the award for the 'Home Grown Talent' category.
She has made several appearances in the iTunes Charts. Her singles 'Breathe'' and "Free Falling" both quickly climbed to number 2 in the Singer-Songwriter iTunes Chart. Cody has also charted on the Official UK Chart for Scottish Singles.
Cody describes her songs as having a whole new dynamic to them since starting to play with her full band back in 2018. James McMurray (Keyboard), James Martin (Drums), Steven Smith (Bass) and Roy Jarvis (Lead Guitar).
